07:3090 min Arrival and set-upOne set for the whole day: a table, two chairs, and fixed camera and light positions. We start half an hour earlier than on the explainer days, to make room for eleven episodes.

09:0030 min Testing, speakers joinLight, sound, background and a test recording. Both speakers join us for this part, so we test on them and can start recording right after. Speakers 1 & 2

09:30150 min Episodes 1 to 4Around 35 minutes per episode, for a conversation of about ten minutes. Room to pause, redo a sentence or check a figure together. Including a short break halfway. Speakers 1 & 2

12:0060 min LunchA proper break for everyone.

13:00105 min Episodes 5 to 7Same rhythm as the morning. Speakers 1 & 2

14:4515 min BreakTime to reset before the final block.

15:00140 min Episodes 8 to 11Straight on, as long as it flows. Speakers 1 & 2

17:2040 min WrapSet down, gear packed and the backup made on site.

18:00 Departure

Speakers. Both speakers are needed from around 09:00 until around 17:20.

Order of episodes. We suggest recording the most complex episodes first, the ones with the most figures or technical detail. Both speakers are at their sharpest in the morning, and lighter episodes are easier to keep natural later in the day. The order within a block can still shift on the day.
